Aged Oak parquet is obtained by mechanical or manual processes which transform the appearance, color and texture of the parquet planks.
Often combined with smoking (oxidation of wood colors) there are many aging processes with very sophisticated effects: hammering of chamfers, wormholes, open slits, cracks, chapping, scrapes and even traces of sawing or side planing.
In addition to the Vintage look, the aged Oak parquet offers the advantage of not being cozy. It is not afraid of scratches or punctures as its texture is already marked.
